A little RAK for all of the kindness that was shown to me....

Kind words mean so much. Really.

I try to offer them as much as I can. And they came back to me.

The last couple of weeks were challenging, to say the least. But my family is healthy and we have awesome air-conditioning. What more could we ask for? Well...a working sewer...and we got that!!!
And our new dryer will be coming this week, too.

All is well. We are thankful for all of the little things...

Girls in white dresses (my niece, Anna, is getting married this weekend and Emily and Allison are the flower girl and ring bearer, respectively).

Air conditioning (I cannot say it enough).

An awesome hurricane fan that keeps the air moving.

Little girls "scrapbooking" at the dining room table because it is too hot to go outside.

A job that lets me have several days off, in a row. And Eric's job, that gives us flexible hours so the girls don't have to go to daycare.

Family who loves us.

Friends who love us.

New online friends, who I have never met, but mean the world to me...Amy, Judi, Studio Calico, in general!!!.... :)

So much more.....

So...the RAK. It isn't much, but I think that it is cool enough....
ETA: RAK stands for Random Act of Kindness....

Just to say thanks for the prayers and kind thoughts.

I only have a photo of this...

I love this set. It is so girlie, summer-ish to me. There are more goodies, but I don't have a functioning camera.....

Please just leave a comment and tell me what you are thankful for...and I will draw a name Sunday, July 13th. I can't wait to use that random number generator!!! haha.

Be cool and stay well. Be well and stay cool.

Ami

I am thankful for my salvation because I know it is not of my doing, and without Jesus it is completely unattainable! And I'm thankful for a Godly husband and a child who loves Jesus. After that, the rest is gravey.

I am thankful for the community of women that I have met through scrapbooking...in "real life" as well as online. Never before has a hobby made me so happy and grateful!

I hope you enjoy your RAK from me...I mailed it last week, so I hope it arrives soon! It was the first I've ever done and it felt GOOD!

You are a beautiful person. I love knowing that God has brought other believers via scrapbooking for such purposes such as friendship. I am thankful for that, and well, for the health and safety our family has had so far. Also, for those that just send smiles my way. For my children (and DH of course) who desire to be involved, and learning, with our faith.

I'm so glad I clicked to come peek at your blog...I love how positive your outlook is! Right now I'm thankful for that. I've had a day that I'd rather do over...I declared the project I'm working on HOPELESS today. No amount of encouragement would shake me off my pity party! But just in the little I read of your words, I could feel my perspective righting 'round. God is good, He's at work, and I just need to be thankful. So thank YOU!

You are so sweet and really show us that there is so much to be thankful for big and little the Lord takes care of it all.

I'm thankful for my relationship with Jesus, family, friends, and for this great hobby of scrapbooking that gives me pleasure and I meet so many awesome people....

As the mom of a Army soldier, I am thankful my son has not been deployed to the war. While I support his choice to join and support what he is doing for our country 100% - that selfish mom in me, is thankful, he is safe here in the states for now.
Bless you and hope your July 4th holiday was special!

That is a lot of wonderful things to be thankful for! :) I'm glad you're feeling that way. I will have to make my own "thankful" list.

This is my first visit to your blog but it won't be my last. I am blessed to have some wonderful online friends.

I am most thankful for my mom and dad and the fact that we were brought up in a loving Christian home. I am also thankful that the test results came back negative for my mom. She is my "Earthly" Rock and best friend and I can't imagine life without her.
