Not Me Monday!!!!!

I absolutely love this idea.

And I have become addicted to this blog. The "real" mom is dealing with some heavy duty stuff...and some "just every day mom stuff". She will welcome her 4th baby Wednesday...and thousands of her readers are waiting to meet her "Stellan".

I really think that it helps us moms "confess" our transgressions...and still feel like we are not alone.

We all know that these children of ours will survive...and actually have good stories and sweet memories of their childhood's.

My girls are, for the most part, patient beings. My 3yo...well...she is 3yo. But she puts up with alot...especially a momma who works night shift and chooses to keep her kids home and not put them in day care.

Soooo...without further ado...

I did not give my youngest daughter a cheese sandwich and 2 sippy's of apple juice and sit her in the bed with me, to watch television, while I grabbed a pseudo-nap.

I did not auto-tune 6 Dora's, SpongeBob's, Diego's, Little Bill's in a row...so she would stay in bed with me for 3 hours.

I most certainly did not laugh so hard at an off-color joke at work that, with the result of delivering 3 big-headed babies, I pee'd my pants and had to borrow work scrubs.

I really, really did not tell my 7yo that I would tell her the Tooth Fairy and Santa Claus's phone numbers when she grew up and became a mom.

Ahhhh. That feels better.

15 years. Wow!!!

It used to seem like so far away. But, now, the years seem to have raced by.

15 years ago, our family started.

The Diekemper home, established in 1993.

Since then, we have added 3 more members to our family...

our 3 beautiful daughters - Katie, Emily and Allison.

I am so thankful to have a good, Christian, caring, loving husband. A man who loves his girls (all 4 of us) with all of his heart.

I love you, sweetheart. Thank you.

Where did I go????

Man...September was just a bit hectic. But, it ended nicely with a vacation to Silver Dollar City and Branson, with my parents and sister and her husband.

I would love for you to see the "ole-time-y" photos of my kids, but I cannot post the pictures here.

The are so funny. Allison did not like the shoulder part of her dress and the fact that the hat would not sit firmly on her head. She kept shrugging up her shoulders and fussing about it all.

Katie did not like the way her dress fit on top. I thought that she looked so mature in it. But she fussed a bit about the and the fact that the back was just open and laced up. Modesty at its finest. (Thank goodness).

Emily? She loved every bit of it! The dress. The taking of her picture....
Need I say more???

I am hoping to get back on the posting "band wagon" soon. Trying to get back into our family "groove".

But, October is shaping up to be another one of those months.
-2 parades that Katie is in.
-an out of town wedding (Congratulations, Sarah and Ryan!!!)
-Halloween party
-deciding on and finding 3 Halloween costumes
-working my 2 jobs

So far....so good.

One day late...but not too bad....

Happy Birthday to my sweet husband...

Can you guess how old his is??? His birthday was yesterday...but silly me didn't get to post a special page for him.

He is 50! Can you believe it? I think that he looks great! And with such a young chick on his arm...it can only help his youthful appearance, don't you think? ha!!!

I remember when we met...you tried to hold my hand and asked for my phone number...

I remember our first date...you locked your keys in your car...

I remember our wedding day...so special...

I remember the look, on your face, as you saw each of our daughters for the first time...

I am thankful that your parents raised such a good man...a loving, patient husband, an attentive, caring father, a God-fearing person.
